What are the GTA 6 system requirements?
Rockstar has not published any. The official GTA VI website and support information currently list PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. No verified PC table covering the CPU, GPU, memory or storage exists yet.
Minimum and recommended GTA 6 requirements
Both configurations remain unknown. Requirements depend on the finished PC port, graphics settings, target resolution and frame rate. Comparisons with GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2 or console hardware may be interesting, but they do not establish official requirements.
What PC specs will GTA 6 need?
No CPU, graphics card, RAM or VRAM target can currently be verified. Unofficial “minimum,” “recommended” and “maximum” builds do not guarantee that the game will launch or reach a particular resolution and frame rate.
How to spot a speculative requirements list
- It does not link directly to Rockstar Games or Rockstar Support.
- It names exact CPUs and GPUs while PC is absent from the official platform list.
- It gives a precise PC release date without a separate Rockstar announcement.
- It labels estimates or alleged leaks as confirmed specifications.
How much storage will GTA 6 need?
Rockstar has not announced the PC download size or whether an SSD will be mandatory. A future console download size should not be treated as the confirmed size of an unannounced PC version.
What to wait for
A useful official list should cover minimum and recommended hardware, Windows version, RAM and VRAM, storage capacity, and whether an SSD is required. Buying a new PC specifically for GTA 6 before those details arrive would be premature.
We track the platform status separately in our GTA 6 PC release guide. The confirmed launch platforms are covered in our PS5 and Xbox Series X|S guides.
